This prestigious breast cancer fundraiser, emceed by 11Alive anchor Brenda Wood, features a high-energy runway show blending models and breast cancer survivors on the catwalk. Among the fall and holiday looks presented are fashions from Trina Turk, BCBG, Michael Kors, Anne Klein, Karen Kane, French Connection, Vince Camuto, Calvin Klein, and Eileen Fisher.
The Metro Atlanta Breast Cancer Angel Fund of the Eric R. Beverly Family Foundation provides direct financial grants to assist uninsured and under-insured individuals facing breast cancer with a variety of treatment-related costs including, but not limited to, insurance co-pays, prescriptions and other medication, transportation, replacement of lost wages, child/dependent relative care, alternative and natural therapies not traditionally covered by insurance companies.
Sheldon M. Lincenberg, MD, founded the event in 1995 to promote breast cancer awareness and to raise funds for local breast cancer organizations. Pink Ribbons is for women who are fighting breast cancer and for those who may encounter it in the future, either themselves or through loved ones.
Parisian signed on during the developmental phase of this event because of their strong commitment to community service. Pink Ribbons has continued to grow through the years, raising over $1.5 million dollars since its inception. In 2007, with the purchase of Parisian, Belk became the new presenting sponsor of Pink Ribbons.
"Thanks to the support of sponsors, in-kind contributors, individual ticket purchasers and volunteers, Pink Ribbons is helping to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer."
Contact us if you would like to become a sponsor, purchase tickets or donate to the Silent Auction. Tickets are $125 each and must be purchased by September 20, 2016. No tickets are sold at the door.
